The third competition day of the 68th World Military Pentathlon Championship concluded with the Throwing event. The competition combines grenade precision throwing with grenade distance throwing, requiring competitors to perform consistently in both events to secure valuable points for the overall standings.
In the men’s competition, Kristoffer Skonnord (Norway) claimed victory with 191.8 points, ahead of William Lisandro Altamirano Arcos (Ecuador) with 190.2 points.
The women’s event was won by Wang Tang Lin (China) with 182.5 points, while Gelyci Kelly (Brazil) finished in second place with 178.3 points.
After four disciplines, Pascal Remmele (Germany) remains the overall leader in the men’s competition with 4420.3 points. In the women’s classification, Han Danyang (China) leads the field with 4297.9 points as the championship heads into its final day.
The individual championships will be decided tomorrow in the final discipline, the demanding 8 km for men and for women 4 km Cross-Country Run, where the remaining medals and overall titles of the 68th World Military Pentathlon Championship will be awarded.
