Colonel Hess also presented the prestigious "Friendship Through Sport Award." Following a vote among the participating delegations, Germany was selected as the recipient in recognition of its exemplary sportsmanship, fair play, team spirit, and contribution to the positive atmosphere that defined the World Championship.
