Symposia and conferences at the Theresan Military Academy
Military science is defined as "the entire body of scientific knowledge relating to the use of armed forces in operations".
For the Knowledge Requirements, the entire spectrum of military sciences can in principle be assumed as the environment. Once the knowledge requirement has been identified, fundamental research and application-related research and development activities are carried out, either independently or in cooperation with national and/or international partners.
Scientifically generated results can be made available in a variety of forms. Symposia and conferences are an essential part of the research and development process at the Theresan Military Academy, for the aim of competence preservation and the acquisition of expertise for the excellent design of the education and training activities at the Theresan Military Academy.
Theresan Military Academic Forum
The Theresan Military Academic Forum (TMAF) is an annually held scientific symposium organised by the Institute for Officer Training.
The aim of this event is, following the regular cycle of research and teaching at university educational institutions, to present the results of the research and development activities. This forum offers the teaching and research staff of the University of Applied Sciences Bachelor's degree programme Military Leadership to share their knowledge with members of the scientific community and to bring this military expertise into the national and international scientific discourse.
